Bill and Lisa Galipault

Since
his first soccer mission trip in 1980 Bill has been involved in sports ministry
as a player, coach, domestic and international missionary, administrator and
pastoral staff member.
After
seven years as head men’s soccer coach at Nyack College, NY Bill and Lisa
joined the staff of Missionary Athletes International in 1988, spending five
years in La Habra, CA followed by six years in the Czech Republic helping
churches learn how to use soccer camps to reach their communities. Upon
returning to the States in 1999 Bill worked for three years with Fellowship of
Christian Athletes Global Initiative establishing international partnerships
for FCA.
In
2003 Bill and Lisa accepted the call to join the staff of Rose Drive Friends
Church in Yorba Linda, CA as the Small Groups and Recreation Pastor overseeing
approximately 50 adult small groups and a sports program for youth and adults
including leagues, camps and special events. In 2011 Bill and Lisa rejoined MAI
as part of the La Mirada, CA (So Cal Seahorses) office.
Bill
holds an MPS degree (seminary masters), an MSEd, and is working on a Doctor of
Ministry degree in the area of sports ministry. He is a recorded minister in
the Friends Church Southwest.
